Some days I’m ashamed to be an Auburn fan. My only recourse is that many of these people probably don’t have an Auburn degree

This is always a bummer to read.
I’m an Auburn graduate because my dad grew up in the wiregrass and loved Auburn football. He was too poor to even dream of attending. Barely made it through high school because he had to work
Auburn has changed a lot even since my time as a student. I don’t think I’d be able to get in now with the financial and educational requirements.

So grow up and act like adults. Just because you are a fan doesn’t give you the right to denigrate the players.
We have 3000 that donate to NIL so don’t act like sitting at home or went to school there 30 years ago is paying any of these players.
I’m to the point now either put your money where your mouth is or stfu. You know since they get paid and all now. Then where are the fans that are bitching paying?? The whole 3000 strong. Ole Miss has almost 15000 fans in their collective.

You want us all to shut the hell up with criticism yet open the check book to pay these poor poor college athletes?
These athletes are living the best life and getting the opportunity to play a game they love. The benefits are abundant compared to the regular student.
These athletes, just like the coaches, can get called out when they suck arse. They get paid. They can handle it. Message board folks are softer than the athletes.
