I really would like to see who has been blowing up his phone wanting to come here. That would be a darn interesting list...we could all see who we wanted...especially he seemed excited about an OC.

That is what every single coach says, in every single presser. At every single school.

Yep. Harsin said the same thing at his presser. And he ends up taking a month to find an OC, only to end up promoting Kiseau.
That said, I am sure more coaches would be interested in working with Freeze, so maybe there is some truth to it.

I don’t think Friend will be retained, and I would prefer Matt Luke over Friend, but I just want to give Friend some props for his co-OC performance over the last 4 games. I was really impressed with the creativity they used to get Tank and Jarq the ball in advantageous positions and try to create mismatches with formations. Also found ways to utilize Robby’s greatest strength - his speed. They were really limited by Robby’s passing and they still found ways to move the ball and score. Kudos to Friend for that. I hope he gets a good gig somewhere.

I think Friend will move on because he's a pretty qualified OC and can call plays. Hugh said he's thinking about turning over playcalling duties, but I still see Friend going somewhere where he can run his own offense.
