I do not know how to shitpost if the phone is on the wireless charger, that is main issue with that thing.

I have it by my bed and will sometimes put the charger on my chest at night. it’s very portable.

Technical question, is this one of those chargers that will continue charging even after the phone hits 100% or does it know when to shut off.

That’s just a setting on your phone.

I’m a cord hoarder as well. I keep them in a box in the garage. It’s come in handy multiple time.

Hear! Hear!

I had one of my older phone cords fit a streamlight flashlight. That's when you know you are winning. The cord had a fat, square usb port.

Verizon lied to me then. I didnt want to go to the lightening C cord and he pushed them on me saying the other ones overcharged.

My wife would probably call me a goober if I did that.

I misread that. I thought you were talking about the optimized charge where it’s stops at 80% at night then continues to 100% based on when you normally take it off the charger. I assume since this charger stops at 80% it will also stop at 100%.

If I'm not mistaken mine was alltel as well. Could be wrong on that but seem to remember it.

And yes before coaching I did a little bit of all...

In the old days, cell call locally was ok, but they had a big charge on “long distance.” I made a hole in one with my brother so we called my dad from the course. It was worth it, but it was a big per minute charge.

I remember as a kid we would announce, “it’s Jimmy, long distance.”

We had a rotary phone.

Same problems in my house. My wife has found these super long and durable ones that we have generally used over the years. But even brand new they seem to be slow at charging.

One sits in my night stand and the other on my work desk. They don’t move and I suspect that’s probably why they hold up longer

This is a constant battle at my house. My wife and the kids are always moving chargers and it never fails that they end up either broken or lost. I e had to have a serious talk with all 3 of them about it . It got to the point they started moving mine and that was the thing that pushed me over the edge.

I have 3 that never move: One in my office at work, one in my office at home, and one on my nightstand. If I can keep up with 3 and manage to not break them, I can't understand why I'm always having to buy more. It's maddening.

My family has zero common sense.

These cords work for years with me. Weeks to months for them. Hold the damn cord at the base with one hand and the phone with another upon insertion and removal. ffs

I mean, fmf. Are you telling me that jerking and inserting a bunch of wires without support will cause quick damage?
