Smith Lake might be worth it to you. A buddy from work just moved up there.

Winfield or Hamilton would be a short commute. Pretty decent school system, and good communities

If it’s worth commuting for your dream job then I’d maybe consider it

Any decent schools?

2 - 3 years ago Walker Co built(at the time) the largest school in the state. I'm not sure if the teachers are worth a dang but they do have a massive new school.

Like others have stated, Gardendale isn't a bad commute. I suppose it really depends on what you and your families cup of tea is.

You mean they don't kill 8 month old unborn babies?

Sounds like a good thing to me.

Why in the hell would you come on here and ask these idiots for that kind of advice? Do some research. There are plenty of nice communities close to Jasper.

SpotSticker. We are in Knoxville the next few days for the East Tennessee Fishing Show. Got all set up today. Took me and my wife 10 hours to build the new display system and populate it. Now we sleep in tomorrow. Show starts at 2 the first day..... Much needed rest. I have been a spinnerbait building fool the last month

Thanks man. I just bought the new display racking system. I love it though its a beast. The lights totally suck and are inadequant. I need to do something else for lighting before the Bass Master Classic show in 6 weeks.

Also need a big sign on top. Just ran out of time

Drove about an hour from Tuscaloosa to Jasper to hook up with a chick I met in Tuscaloosa. Ended up only making out with her and being frustrated driving back on long, dark, curvy hwy 69.

Something tells me she had more booze in her when she was in Tuscaloosa...

Who knows. She called me couple days later wondering why I hadn’t called her even though I thought I did something wrong that night. We went our separate ways though. I wasn’t about to drive an hour just to not touch second base.
