It is absolutely my favorite liquor of all time. I’ve gone through two bottles of it. I need to find something close taste wise for an every day kind of tequila. Right now I’m on Altos Reposado. It isn’t bad for $20 for a liter, but there has to be something better.

Can we turn this into a "really cheap booze that doesn't suck"? Cause Sam's Club has their own Member's Mark brand Vodka and Spiced Rum that don't suck. They're both like 17 or 18 bucks for a 1.75. I probably wouldn't want to sip on either straight or with just water but for cocktails they're damned good.

I keep hearing that the Costco Reposado is fantastic, but I can’t seem to find it.

No. Just heard it was great. Tried to find it at Hoover and they were out.

I’m trying all the under $50/bottle reposados to find one I like. Altos is the winner so far. I like Casamigos, but it’s $50/bottle.

ETA: The hotel I stayed at in Columbus, OH had a Reposado that was delicious and cheap. Think it was Primo or Prima. Of course I can’t get it here.

ETA2: El ZunZun in Cahaba Heights has a great tequila bar selection. Many to try and of course they have Clase Azul Reposado.

In Nash this weekend. Went to Bearded Iris tonight. You got any good spots to hit up?

Disclaimer: I'm really not as in the know as a lot of folks, AND I don't drink beer (liquor only). Soooo these will all be recommendations based on food, cocktails, and/or atmosphere. I also don't live in Nashville, so I don't know all of the hidden gems. I mostly only go into Nashville for events and such.

If you want a burger and beer (or maybe a shake or float with an adult twist), you need to hit up The Pharmacy. Tenn Sixteen is a great place for dinner (get the deviled egg appetizer, trust me...assuming you like deviled egss ) and cocktails. If you like Italian, hit up Amerigos.

No, I will NOT wade into the hot chicken debate for fear of starting a war with any other fellow Nashvillians.

I totally missed the UGA part. Thought you were talking about AU alumni. Well that kinda sucks. I don't know what I was thinking, also forgot that UGA and Vandy were playing week 1.

Hey guys. My grandfather is in the hospital and is being transferred to hospice any day now. He’s a 1956 API graduate and he was 1st generation of what now has become a 3 generation Auburn family. Any thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.

I’d do anything to have him see Auburn play next weekend, but truly want to see him free of pain

My own Paw paw was also the 1st of a 3 generation Auburn family. C/o 1952, attended on the GI Bill and was a letterman in tennis and golf (FAF, I know). He passed away just 3 months before the start of the 2004 season and it was always bittersweet that he wasn't able to see it.

I truly hope your grandfather is able to witness Auburn kick Oregon's arse, and that he has a good pain free day that day. Sending all the positive thoughts, vibes, and prayers your way brother

If you can find this, try it. It is very good, 100% and its fairly cheap. I had a friend who distributes tell me about it. The silver is very good as well.

Don’t miss Southern Grist, as well. Best brewery in TN IMO.
