Quite true but Crum is not the cheapest guy out there. Plenty of other schools have better DCs that currently make less.

I think his whole staff got pay upgrades after Lebby and the DC left for the same position.

I bet your nickname at band camp was "Blind Squirrel".

The telling thing about a Kiffin/Freeze comparison is this. Both were OM coaches. Only one beat the top team, at their prime, two straight years. One has been the HC are two very high profile jobs, and didn't do shite. Now he's at a lower tier SEC job, and still hasn't done shite.

As much as you want to believe, have hope, dreams, and rely on "feelings", I'll stick with results and historical facts of success. It's becoming readily apparent, that you and others, are more interested in a sideshow than actually having a WINNING program. Nobody can predict how someone will do, but Hell, at least make an informed decision! There is no way a truly objective person looks at Freeze's record vs. Kiffin's and still chooses Kiffin.

Hugh is on a 2 loss streak
And yet his season is still 10 times more impressive than Kiffin. We can compare their only common opponent but we know you have some excuse for that too.

Kiffin will be judged (not exclusively) on his defense and I’m glad he’s learning his lesson in OM and not Auburn, assuming he takes the job.
Think about that statment for a second. He was an NFL coach at 32 y/o! Hasn't it been long enough for him to "learn lessons", especially since his next SEC HC job will be his 3rd?

Hopefully it's Fickell and all this debate is meaningless

He's a slow learner. Like the ones that haven't learnt yet that coaches who are just offensive minded and try to win by just outscoring everyone with no defense never work out long term. None of the top coaches use this philosophy.

Fickell will never leave the midwest. That is all he knows. He'd be taking a massive risk with coming to the South. He'll be a Big 10/Notre Dame coach in a couple of years.

Really slow. Almost like a idiot savant that can do complex mathematical equations, but can't tie his shoes. No doubt our offense will be much better, but running up huge amounts of yardage and still losing, is still losing. The "hopes and dreams" crowd think it will be different this time. Modern day equivalents Charlie Brown trying to kick the football.

Lane doesn't either but they couldn't afford to pay the one they had the year before

And here goes Corch, flip-flooping like a tard. I read your post in the "Lane Kiffin is our coach" thread. Weird that you didn't seem to think Kiffin was a great choice a couple of years ago. Some of your comments from then, closely mirror what I've been saying.

Why doesn’t it bother you that Freeze has lost to a 2-8 team and a mediocre UConn team in the last two weeks?

So he can beat Arkansas but not UConn nor 3-8 Virginia Tech.

Liberty is an independent school (no conference) and schedules a lot of tough games. They schedule all the best G5 schools and aren't afraid to play P5 schools. I believe they only played one FCS school this season.

They played UAB and BYU, both of which are solid G5 programs. Then they played Wake Forest, Arkansas and VT - all 3 of which are P5 teams.

I wonder how many other G5 schools scheduled 3 P5 teams this year? Let's check:

UCF only played 1 P5 team (Georgia Tech).

Boise State only played 1 P5 team (Oregon State, who is straight garbo).

Tulane only played 1 P5 team (Kansas St.)

Cinci played 2 P5 teams (Arkansas and Indiana).

Houston played 2 P5 teams (Kansas and Texas Tech).

So, yeah, Liberty plays a pretty difficult schedule for a G5 team.
