Because the world can’t resist looking at a train wreck I went to the bama boards. One poster is actually saying if they can salvage a top 10 class in 25 all things will calm down. this from a group that has been melting when they finish second….

Freeze’s top priority is to corral all the head coaches of the top high schools producing blue chip recruits in our state into our fold. Sure there will be some bammers amongst them, but we need to be be No. 1 for any top 25 kid coming out of HS for the next couple of recruiting cycles. I think we are already seeing that for 2025, but we have to keep the pedal to the metal.

If they don’t finish with 9 wins next season, a bunch of poors will quit scrapping up nickels for season tickets. All the side walkers will quit showing up.

This has been a train wreck to end all train wrecks for them. All they had to do was hire a guy with SEC ties, and re recruit their roster. Letting T-rob leave was a death nail for them. In the era of fast pace Portal recruiting, and high school NIL he's out of his element and I love it.

They'll have even more kids from the 24 class leave after next season if they don't find a way to win this year. Most of them took upfront deals and would have had to pay the money back if they had left right now.
