The only one I know personally about is the Utah QB Barnes entered the transfer portal but played in their bowl game.

He was an early enrollee at Tennessee, so 3 years. Only was at Tennessee for a semester and was suspended from the football team during that spring. Liberty also requires Bible classes so not sure how far a long he would be.
