Where’s Raven Gray I don’t think his last cycle of recruiting was a 5 star but for 2 cycles he was. Yes I think he counted towards recruiting in 3 cycles.

247 doesn’t have him listed as a 5 star on our all time commit list

I don’t think 247 was around then. I know they went back to some of the guys that panned out like Caddy but for the most part classes are incomplete from years ago

Raven Gray listed as 1 of 5 of the top Auburn recruiting busts…
Raven Gray: DE, 5-Star 2008
Raven Gray was first recruited to Auburn during the 2006 recruiting year. He had to spend two seasons at JUCO before making his way to Auburn in the 2008 recruiting class, being re-rated as a 5-star recruit by Rivals.com.
Gray showed up to Auburn with high expectations, but failed to meet them. He battled injuries and other issues off the field, choosing to transfer before the spring of 2009 according to an al.com report.
Gray was one of the highest rated players that Tuberville recruited that actually made it to the Plains. Unfortunately for both parties, it never worked out for the best.
Gray will also be remembered for his testimony on the HBO series attacking Auburn, alleging money and gifts to athletes had occurred. Gray and the other three featured in the special declined to speak with the NCAA about the allegations.

They weren't...IIRC
They usually go back and rank previous recruits but usually the lists are incomplete

I’m not debating. The industry standard at the time had him a 5 star. And yes I think Auburn was credited 3 straight recruiting cycles of Gray being a commit. I always just found it funny

I don't think anyone has put a list together should be by the middle of the week but I wouldn't be surprised to see between 40-50 players for '24 (30+ players) and the rest '25 class.

yeah forgot to mention Riddick is coming. That's huge news. I have no idea if we will get him in the end or not but putting the pressure on UGA to have to dedicate time in Clanton makes it worth the effort.
