I couldn’t care less about credit on an Auburn player flipping to bama. I’d be pissed if it happened. I’m only posting recruiting info that’s out there.

No? You sure are fighting for all the credit with Williams and you are regurgitating bama fan gossip like its gospel. Especially when you have zero clue

Brent Calloway

Was it him or RF that opposing coaches had a dance off at his house? Wild times man. The recruiting thread was lit back then

Wasn’t Calloway. That was the one where he basically got kidnapped. I can’t remember who the dance off was. Wild though.

ETA: it was Rahsaan Evans

that was during the Trooper and Luper show. Auburn was busting their arse recruiting top named kids and bama would just swoop in and buy them out from under us.

The Auburn fanbase is like and abused wife/GF who's been cheated on so many times that they ruin the good thing because of dumb rumors or insecurities. This ain't the old days, let's finish this thing off.

So much this

Ahh yes… iirc bama promised him he could play running back too LOL

Also… I’ve been around enough to see what’s about to happen. Perry and TW to bama. No insiders just the good ol tea leaves

Good ole labia reading

Negabarners are the worst, they spread their insecurities and attack any positive news for fear of getting hurt again.

Watch when Ryan Williams next posts a similar type of pic to trigger melts among the Gumps. These kids were born in the age of the Internet. They know all about rustling jimmies and attracting attention. You can either criticize them as trolls and dismiss them or just accept it as part of their mental makeup.

A 6-6 Auburn team propped up with duct tape, elmer's glue and string gave a playoff bama team all it could handle. I hope these recruits see that they will either win with us or lose with them. We comin' regardless!

Let's not forget that this is about straight cash now. We keep going over Brent Callaway, TJ yeldon, and Foster ect like we can't drop as big a bag as anyone now. Kids still value getting to the league, but they're smart enough to know that they can also secure a seven figure deal BEFORE the NFL. If our NIL collective is together(which it is) we can stand up to ANYONE, Even Bama.

I remember a defensive tackle back 10 years ago that flipped to Bama late that. He was a troll in us. Trying to remember his name.

Another gotcha on the list.

The only thing I don't get is if it were only about the bag how is a school like Texas not absolutely blasting everyone? FSU is known for not having or being willing to spend and they are #3. I'm not discounting the obvious allure of money but just wondering how accurate some of the absurd figures getting thrown around are. The teams are pretty much in the same slots they usually are so what has really changed?

It is and it isn’t just about money. Recruiting will improve even more with winning and putting more players into the NFL. That still matters, but money has definitely become an equalizer.

I expect some drastic oversight and reform coming in the next 12-24 months on NIL based on what’s happening right now. I also expect some more changes to the portal to happen.

Roster management has to be a circus and the coaching staff’s are rarely going to have down time. We don’t need burnout either.

With that said, I’m loving where our recruiting is. It’s exciting and eventful, it creates more engaged fans. Night and day from the last few years.

The figure on the left with the Bama hat, covering his face is meant to represent an exasperated Nick Saban. PT would never be so bold as to actually put Saban's figure there, but he did use the hat.

I don't know what's so hard to understand about this.

There are a lot of boomers on the board and they struggle with social media stuff.

We just honor those old guys for being able to bring in past stories from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s.
