I'll go to my grave believing that Harsin actually self sabotaged because of what happened with his family and the players quitting after year one. I think he never gave max effort after getting his feelings hurt. He was responsible for Kobe Hudson, Bo Nix, Lee Hunter, smoke Monday, and a shite ton of players leaving. What a miserable douche. Not excusing the possible family harassment thing, BUT what did we do to deserve such a pedestrian effort from him?????

Smoke didn’t leave, Lee Hunter was soft and transferred to UCF and barely plays. Bo Nix didn’t leave because of Harsin. He left because the fan base shat on him and booed him every game. Kid played his heart out for Auburn but wasn’t set up for success with a terrible OL and receivers. Harsin did a lot of things wrong but I don’t think most of the transfers were anyone we wanted to keep anyway, besides Bo. I do think he sabotaged year 2 though.

Bo Nix quite simply wasn’t that good of a college QB. He never won a big game in his career other than the 2019 Iron Bowl when Tua got injured two weeks beforehand and Mac Jones made his first start.

People act like he was some sort of great player at Oregon but was he really? I think he’ll look back and realize he never won anything of significance there either. Washington beat him twice his 5th year that was gifted to him because of Covid. Georgia beat him 49-3 during his senior year in 2022. He never won a championship or went to a big bowl game.

Good QBs win big games.

Was he? Just seems more like a narrative by Oregon to try and get him Heisman hype.

The guy played 5 years and outside of the game Tua missed never won a big time game.

Yes he was a very good college qb and was one defensive stop or scoring drive away from probably winning the Heisman. He led his team to over 30 points in both 3 point losses to the number 2 team in the country.

I guess you don't think Peyton Manning was a good college qb either

Y’all are crazy af. Bo made the right decision getting tf away from Harsin. Y’all still don’t realize how shitty those teams were around him? You saw that roster this year. Bo didn’t have a chance to be successful here with the shite around him. Bo would not have left for “fans booing him”, he saw the state of the program under Harsin. Harsin was fricking horrible. Worst coach I’ve ever seen. He’s a joke and I will kick his arse personally. frick him.

Bo is and was legit. I will never forgive harsin’s bitch arse for running off what could have been one of our most legendary players ever, who was auburn since the day he was born.

Rant over. frick Harsin.

Smoke wanted to come back but Harsin told him that he didn't want him. Smoke was one of the guys that revolted against potato man. I also believed that Lee Hunter was soft, but then I watched him flourish at UCF and I questioned everything. Bo Nix and Harsin did NOT get along man. There where TONS of Auburn people, myself included who knew that he didn't have the talent around him. I'm not saying he wasn't frustrated with SOME Auburn fans but Harsin was a big part of that.

Peyton Manning won numerous big games including an SEC Championship against Auburn.

So if he had the talent around him at Oregon why couldn’t he ever win anything there either?

It’s a myth that Bo is a good college QB. He padded stats against awful teams and shrunk in big moments ALL 5 years in college.

Bo Nix had one of the worst lines in Auburn history. I acknowledge that he made mistakes, had happy feet at times, and was far from perfect, BUT he also beat LSU almost by himself on the freaking road. He long proved that he was a damn good QB. The talent deficit at Georgia and Bama where just too much.

That LSU team was horrendous and fired their coach after the loss.

This sounds familiar…and Nix had a better Oline and WRs than last season’s team.

I don't care how bad LSU was that year, we COULD NOT BEAT LSU at that mad house until Bo did it.
