Yep. Hard to finish top 10 when you don’t have a full class
or when the recruiting sites lower our recruits star rating because they committed to Auburn in the first place

Perry Thompson losing his 5 star status is a joke. Dude is legit and would still be a five star if he were committed to bama.

Is the RB target y’all are taking about maybe Burnette told to look around for, the kid committed to Clemson?

I really think Jarquez will be back next year and that’s part of the reason. Wouldn’t surprise me if we didn’t take a Single back in this class.

Cowboy coming back just means that they won’t take 2 RBs in this class, but they will take 1 for sure.

Smuphy,

Wonder if Ousmane Kromah is factoring into that? Caddy has been working on that man child for a while. Maybe they will skip this cycle and try and pick up he and Alvin next cycle?

Yea. I’ve heard we may not take a running back at all this class and take two next year.

Not trying to hype up Kaleb Harris at all, but he posted a highlight reel for the season so far and it’s really good HUDL

Really, really disruptive and a very smart player.

Makes sense. RB room is very deep right now

What is surprising is the thinking that Jarquez is coming back. I think he can be drafted in the top 3 or 4 rounds. He also has a ceiling in the Freeze offense because Freeze wants to spread the ball around.

Kaleb Harris….Great instincts. I think he’s my favorite recruit so far.

Kaleb Harris is severely underrated. He is a beast.

Jarquez is somewhere around 20th on the draft board for RB, only 17 were drafted last year. He’s also making a pretty penny in NIL. Traditionally I think he would have left, but I think he comes back now.

I guess anything is possible but right now he’s not in any 2024 draft rankings for the RB position (edit: found one ranking him RB22). For context the RBs given round 3/4 grades are Michigans Blake Corum and Donovan Edward’s, USCe Marshawn Lloyd, ND Audric Estime, and FSU’s Trey Benson. There were also 3 other RB’s given a round 2 grade. A few random draft sites have him as a UDFA if he declares this year but you never know.

It all depends what they can be offered to stay?

3rd and 4th round picks can make 790-900K including signing bonus. I'm guessing with JH's slow start and preseason issue he could drop in the draft selection and choose to return to distance himself from that. Probably could be offered 700-800K plus to stay at Auburn.

Hunter isn't worth 700k. Maybe a QB like Maye is.

I'd rather have NIL focus on wholesome NIL DEALS that can benefit the team.
