Expected, but it wasn't official until recently. It might not have anything to do with it, but arguably our 2 least important commits leaving after its announced is good timing at the least.
Now lets go get my boy Antonio White.

DBs- Crawford, Lane, Lewis, Faustin, the JUCO S we expect to get, plus we might take another HS player.
WRs- Thompson, Cain, Simmons and we probably take another.
He's not better than any one of them.

Yeah I mean Collins was obviously processed. Soloman wasn’t. Arguing otherwise seems silly to me but that’s what we try to do as fans

I’m on board with Antonio White regardless

The only player he has an argument of being better than is Lane, but I don't think Soloman would play in the slot like Lane will.

DB room is already stacked anyway. If there's one position I'm not worried about it's that one.

Laquan Robinson, thats the juco safety. I liked JLee talking about how proud his dad was on the visit that Auburn was looking at his son. Made a point of letting the coaches know his Auburn gear came from his closet, not purchased for the visit. Pretty cool.

With Soloman decommitting, it looks like Auburn has their new target

Has a nice offer sheet. Says he’s down to Auburn, Penn State, MSU, Georgia Tech, and Vandy

This kid aint gonna make it.

The way he waffled you know NIL was a big issue. Perhaps SC came back with more. Isnt he Zeke and Zayden's brother? Maybe we are taking his NIL money and topping off Zaydens for next year
Im still wondering about Zaquan Patterson, he sure took a lot of visits to Auburn, and continues to do so. Its not like south Florida is next door for a visit. I refuse to believe we had 3 of the top 4-5 safeties targeted and missed on them all.
And what about the kid who signed with Clemson, some sites thought he was an Auburn lead but we never seemed to pursue him.
Ill hang out hope for Patterson.

Hell if I know. If he’s the replacement for Soloman I think we can all agree that Soloman wasn’t processed

Solomon wants to play WR, Auburn likes him way more at DB. Sucks, but I can't blame the kid.
Collins was processed, I don't believe he has been developing like the staff thought and they have moved on to another TE recruit.

Solomon is much better than Lane, Lewis, and Faustin.
I still think if we weren't trying to build a relationship with Jake Ganus Auburn wouldn't have taken Lane.

Yeah we were ditched. I guess he knew he couldn't measure up to the man that is Jaylin Simpson.

I haven't had much time to keep up with recruiting lately but is Solomon the one that committed shortly after KJ Bolden committed to FSU? Then the entire USCe fanbase melted down into a puddle online talking about how much money Auburn had to have paid him to get him away from them and throwing around accusations of cheating (in the NIL era no less)?

Been saying it Amon Lane is not SEC caliber. I’ve seen this kid play multiple times. He has SEC speed but doesn’t have the talent. Chase Jackson a coastal Carolina safety commit is much better. Now Sydney Walton the other side cornerback is Uber talented. 2nd year playing football and has all the tools. 6’1” supreme athleticism. Kid is no giant but was dunking in basketball games as an 8th grader. I think UT and UK are already on him already. He would be class of ‘25. Speaking of Ganus I expect Chelsea to come calling soon.
Solomon dropping out just leads me to believe we have no shot at Zayden either.

So the kid is talented, wants to play receiver, and even though we are going to take another receiver, we dont want him to take that spot.
ergo that means Ryan Williams is reclassifying for this class and is coming to the good guys. Yeah thats my theory and Im stickin to it.
And Im still holding out hope Zaquan Patterson comes around.

I don't see how you tell a guy like Solomon that he can't play WR with the shite wr room we have, but what do I know.
Think he just picked us last second and has had second thoughts.

That’s not what happened. He’s just gonna go elsewhere. It’s ok if kids choose somewhere else. Doesn’t mean someone dropped the ball.
