Maybe I get my wish Geriner does start for LSU and by the end of the season we have a QB for the future, with baby goat as an ample backup and Walker having to fight for a place because the aforementioned are playing so well....a man can wish.

Then I look at the QB room for Georgia and cry a little.

We’ve talked about White’s completion percentage before. Obviously, not great. He doesn’t throw an insane amount of interceptions which is good. He really, really pushes the ball downfield. I like that

I don’t know. I’m grossly incompetent at evaluating quarterbacks so that’s all I’ve got

I am pretty tired of the HS QB football angle myself. We havent had a good one we could celebrate in God knows how long.

Bo lasted three years but someone else enjoyed the QB that endured pains here.

Other great looking QBs with arm talent have failed us.

It seems the talent we do get are projects. I am tired of recruiting a bunch of nobodys. A bunch of 3s that are never on anybody's radar except the niche group of fantatical auburn fanboys living on a dream (Jt33)

I had hope that White was going to be elite QB we needed but the more I hear about his low completion percentage against mediocre competition makes me think he us just going to be another guy that keeps Auburn cursed.

Jason Campbell

Even then it took till his senior year

And unrelated to the HS QB convo and random, but can we appreciate what Chris Todd did in 2009? He never gets brought up.

Todd was great against mid tier foes but he was pretty weak against the good teams.

Would absolutely love to have him now though

Brandon Cox was a tough SOB and fierce competitor. Wasn't scared of shite, and he had to overcome some serious medical issues to even be on the field. True Auburn Man.

Had never seen this LOL / nice music! Sharpest Storm Troopers ever, classic stripes, but no damn AU on the damn helmet for some damn reason. Shame on someone!

Auburn Flashback 2007 Florida Game / Stat Tiger, 3 yrs ago

POS Roman Reigns decapitates Auburn QB Brandon Cox 2005

Brandon Cox to Gabe McKenzie Touchdown Pass FTW vs. Kansas State

QB BC goes out a winner over Clemp in 2007 Chik Fil A Bowl highlights Had completely forgotten BC and KB splitting snaps at QB, KB with game winning TD in OT.

frick GEORGIA

Overcoming the Odds - Auburn's Starting QB Brandon Cox (CBS)

War Eagle Brandon! Old school - I'm not sure QBs are made like this these days (at least AU QBs).

I think Peyton Thornes struggles may be teaching freeze that he needs to be heavily involved and Philip Montgomery needs to b assisted. Recruiting is waaaay more important right now, but If the QBs look God awful it will eventually start to affect what players think about how they'll be developed. Im glad this is happening now so MAYBE Hugh can prevent it from happening to Walker.

That’s not really true

Walker White - Top 100 player
Hank Brown - 3 star nobody
Holden Grenier - Top 250 player
Demetrius Davis - Top 250 player
Chayil Garnett - 3 star nobody
Bo Nix - Top 100 player
Joey Gatewood - Top 100 player
Tyler Queen - was highly rated then turned into 3 star nobody
Sean White - Top 100 player

If you go by the recruiting services, we’ve actually done a good job recruiting QBs. Unfortunately it’s just rarely worked out for us

It’s hard to get the right QB. Look at Bamas room, UGA and Clemson. UGA’s best was a walk on and he supplanted 5 stars. Bama hit with Tua and Mac but Jalen was not a good QB and their current highly rated room is a disaster.

Clemson hit HR with Trevor and Deshawn but other than those it’s been tough sledding.

And u can make a strong case that the best are because of their WR room not due to QB!

Did we get an updated list of everyone who made it to the game today? Probably going to take a little while to get any quotes about the game, but today was a good showing for the recruits. They see the plan and that we just need them to come in and make the difference.. hopefully lol.

They were tweeting about a monster 5* surprise visitor. Don’t pay though so don’t know who
