I read this is our 5th loss by 1 run this season.
Just need to capitalize on each situation and play smart ball advancing bases.

We didn’t have many base runners compared to OU. Somehow their 1st p dominated despite going 3 balls on 1/2 the batters.

Felt like we were looking to walk on 3-0 and 3-1 counts. When you have a guy throwing 95% fastballs you got to be more aggressive. Some guys would take 2 pitches at 3-0 and then have to swing at a sub optimal pitch on 3-2

Plinks the leadoff. Next guy puts a charge into one and flies out. Walk puts them in business. Ridiculously tight zone.

Man that was tough. After the walk we surrender a single then an RBI double. Line out and K ends the frame. Hopefully the ump’s zone is just as bad for them as it is us.

Mason Ks swinging. He’s 1-8 for the series now. Eric bangs one off of the second baseman and gets to second. Scored a doubles of now.
