Feels like Im reading about Terrell Owens or Randy Moss. But more like TO. Another crazy motherfricker.
If the guy is a cancer, I say kick him to the curb. I'd keep him on scholarship and allow him to get his degree, but I wouldnt allow him around the team if he cant get his shite straight with a quickness.
Meantime, he is costing himself millions of dollars. Dude could be a No.1 draft pick. Now I dont see it. Maybe not even 1st round.

Is JGT that much in the know to know that much detail behind the Duke saga?
No. He pieces together nuggets to form a narrative that's impossible to prove or disprove about a guy that can't tell us his side of the story.
Can't trust the beat writers on these kind of stories. You're a fool if you do

Yeah. Everything I have heard is that Duke is doing what he needs to do
Posted on 8/13/15 at 12:50 pm to MrAUTigers
Same here.
JGT can't afford to appear as though he hasn't a clue, therefore he is winging it.

f the guy is a cancer, I say kick him to the curb
quote:Disagree. If it was for anything beyond Duke's control (i.e. Medical, hardship) I'd let him keep his scholarship. This is clearly in Duke's control and it's behavioral. No scholly if it was my call.
I'd keep him on scholarship and allow him to get his degree

Can not understand why he did not go pro and why Gus wanted him back.....
If what JGT says is correct, then it could have to do with NFL scouts treating Duke as "untouchable" and him needing this year to prove he isn't a disciplinary problem.

Gus Malzahn says that WR Duke Williams has a discipline issue. "Bottom line, nobody's bigger than the team around here."

Heard this a lot in my summer research. "Untouchable" was used more than once.

I'm kind of torn, if all the rumors are true and his attitude is this bad, then he needs to go immediately... Why can't it just be easy for AU, we have w damn good team this year with an excellent DC hire and now we have a selfish a-hole that's a possible first round draft pick... It's never easy for us. Damn it, just one time can it be easy for us, just once?

It's a conundrum. Is he acting like that because he actually believes he's bigger than the team? Or, again, is he just unable to manage his emotions, which creates appearances that aren't accurate representations of his beliefs?
Should just have a weekly vote of the offensive players. Every week if they want Duke to be part of the team, everyone has to do an extra punishment conditioning.
HS FB coach made us do that for a kid who walked out of camp. That kid knew he owed us one for the rest of the season

Auburn Sports Sites collide....PM rambling around column..
Things could always change and I have no specifics, but with an ear to the ground, I believe Auburn wide receiver Duke Williams will rejoin the team soon. Whether he will have more penance to pay once he’s back on the field remains to be seen, but I will be surprised if he’s not catching passes against Louisville on Sept. 5.

Went upstairs to have lunch today. Had a few visitors in the backyard.
1:00 in the afternoon, August. My trail cam has been fun... I have about 6 or 8 different bucks coming in right now. A new one shows up every few days.

Sorry for the delay. Still pulling for Duke
