The fact we are only down 7 is mind blowing

We have been hearing about Carl Lawson for 4 years, and he still can't get pressure.

Our current QBs, under this head coach, present zero passing threat or running threaet.

Our OL sucks too much. We have one rushing yard. With Franklin in they will load the box and shoot every gap.

. I don't think I realized we'd be this bad on that unit, though.

Did you not know we were starting Robert Leff?

If Steele can do some coaching on the back shoulder plays we might not need very many points to win this game.

The back shoulder throws are a read by the WR and QB. It is almost impossible to defend when executed at a high level

By the way, here's the context:

Gus/Rhett called 1st down passes for completions twice on the scoring drive.

While SW was in? ZERO 1st down passes.

SW is being given, just like last year, obvious THIRD down passing situations.

Damn him for not bring awesome when the defense knows whats coming.

They have played well but need to get a little more pressure. I guess it's kinda hard though when Watson doesn't have to make any reads and can just throw the back shoulder every time.

White sure as hell isn't going to do it either.

With Gus calling the shots, you're right. The only hope for a Gus coached team is Franklin. Gus ruined his legacy by not bringing in an offensive coordinator. If he wants to be an OC, he should be paid OC money.

Actually he has gotten decent push a few times once forcing Watson to throw early and getting bailed out on Ford hold. Just hasn't landed yet. There's plenty to bitch about but the front 7 is not one

Stephen Roberts would come in handy right about now. Suspend him for half the season.

Our defense is the saving grace so far. It's actually pretty impressive that they've held Clemson to 10 with such little rest they got.

Our offense...gosh I have no idea what to think. I think all the problems stem from the poor QB play, and most importantly poor o line play. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but with an o line this bad, it could be a long season.

You really can't coach it. It's just a matter of the CB making an awesome play. It's virtually unstoppable when the QB and the WR are on the same page.

They are running quick slants and back shoulder fades to negate our pressure. Gonna be tough to stop Williams consistently unless Carlton or Holsey shadows him
