We need Lawson back BADDDDD. We got good pressure when we blitzed but the front 4 got very little pressure.
Add Lawson and the D might save us from our missing run attack. Prosch was probably the best in the country at his position and Mason should have won the Heisman.

Yeah, I'm retiring from sports betting.
Glad I did not bet. The Rant had me convinced it was easy money.

Don't know if it was a full on drop because it was a little low but I thought Bray could have caught that one on the first drive of the game.

And Coates dropped a 1st down throw because instead of catching it with his hands he decided to catch it with his body.

And Duke dropped two.

And Louis dropped one.

And Coates COULD have made an attempt on the long pass off his fingers but he chose not to leave his feet.

Why do WRs shy away from diving for the ball these days?

That was a bad throw man. Not even a dive gets Coates that catch. Marshall's deep ball needs some serious work.

But he played very well in the second half.

It was right off his fingertips.

And he never left his feet.

Push off your feet, LUNGE, and catch the fricking ball.

Was it a perfect throw? No.

Was it a bad throw? If you allow the WR to be lazy, yeah, then I guess it was a "bad" throw.

Nick has room for improvement. That key third down pass to Duke was a thing of beauty. There were some poorly thrown balls tonight. There were some flat out drops on well thrown balls. I have more faith in his throwing ability than I did before this game.

Ugh, I think we survived our "Gus gets cute" game. Too much cutesy arse play calling like that stupid shite wildcat while we're winning and driving. Add to it the WR drops and some bad passing out of Marshall and we are very lucky KState has no kicker.

We did that stupid wildcat in that game we had in January. Back then we all swore we never want to see that again. That whole sequence was awful.

Well, I think KSU had the mindset that this game would be their Super Bowl, and I cannot fault our guys for not being as pumped for this one. If there was one road game this season that I would guess they would not be up for, this was it. Sure KSU is ranked, but it wasn't an SEC game, and it's the first road game on a Thursday (windy) night in bumfrick Kansas.
Sometimes we need these tough ugly wins in order to move forward, learn what needs to be done to play better as the season progresses.
Don't know how realistic it will be to get Lawson back, I'm hoping he does make it back in late November, as was the last reported date that I saw in an injury update article.
