Big game Brohm knows passing offense, coaches his players hard on the sidelines, and wins big games.

This would be hire to back the bank truck.

Sorry, not good enough.

He's only beaten Mario Cristobal who we know isn't a big game coach (so that doesn't count), and over-the-hill Dabo Swinney recently.

He beat Notre Dame in 2023, but they were down that year and lost to Dabo Swinney as well so no credit there.

He's the guy I think I could be the most wrong about but he hasn't proven he can get missouri over the hump. They fold in the big season deciders mid-late in the year almost every time. He beat Tennessee big late in the year 2 years ago and he beat a good Florida team in the middle of the year in 2018. Maybe there's something there but there's still alot of doubt.

Drink would be our best hire since Gus easily, I'll give him that but I just feel we'll want him gone 4 years from now with no playoff appearances to show for it.

If you can convince me Drink hates Gus's offense and is an apple that fell very far from the tree then I might jump on board.

Im just glad you finally hitched your wagon to somebody.

We could do worse than Drink but he's not a "we goin to the playoffs now hire"

And I agree, there's not alot out there this year that wouldn't require massive buyouts.

I'd like to start hearing some nfl names floated out there in the days to come. I'd know they're putting in some extra effort to crack the code to win in this new age.

I didn't even realize Franklin was black.

Bi-racial. Dad's black, mom's white (British I think).

But I know ESPN and others were making a big deal about the ND/PSU game in the Orange Bowl because no matter which team won a black head coach would be coaching in the title game.

How much would Drink realistically cost. 12?

I'm not sure he will fit here as well as Missouri, but I know he wants the job and it's not hard to make a case for him. Making a 70m case for him might be a different story.

Joel Klatt has breaking news. He told the Bham media that AU is a terrible job, that Ole Miss and Mizzou are both better and no coach would ever leave those schools for AU. He said "you can't be a good job when you're not even the best job in your state."

What say you?

Never heard of him until today. He sounds like any other Bama fan. The kind that thinks an Auburn person is inferior and dont understand how to win.

I’m not gonna be surprised if we promote Durkin and bring Bobby P in to run the offense

Arkansas is scoring in the high 30s most games, we would be undefeated with that O 1
