On the fence and can't really say (sorry if that is a cop out).

I would take a look at him though. So, if the question is would he be a viable candidate I would consider, then yes.

His ability to recruit with his tarnished rep concerns me though. Plus going from Chiz who we are all proud of as a person to Petrino who may have trouble uniting the fanbase is another concern.

ETA: Oh yeah, lived in Atlanta for several years, but not really a Falcons fan.

No. A Medium to Strong No.

Saints Fan. Hate the Falcons. But more worried about Bobby's record (or lack thereof) regarding D.

Only concern I have with Petrino is can he still recruit?

It's got to be hard to sit in a recruits living room and look the momma (especially) in the face and convince her he is a good guy and to trust him with her son

I think arguments could be made for both sides. Some recruits and recruits families just worry more about getting to the nfl, which I think Petrino could make a good argument he would be able to do for the recruit, while I'm sure some would be turned off by the fact he cheated

I guess he does have a history of leaving programs fricked when he leaves, but I feel like there could be some contractual arrangements to help with that. Also, I don't see him ever being able to hire another girl as an assistant or whatever she was. And I don't see him leaving in the middle of the night like in atl.

To me, he is a damn good coach, but definitely comes with some questions. My main question is how well can he recruit after his reputation has been set? If he can just settle the frick down for a while and stay at a program for a while, I think that reputation will change over time

Edit: oh, and plain and simple, I don't care where he sticks his dick. So morals is literally a non-issue for me

Please also state if you're a Falcons fan from the Atlanta area when you vote. I would like to keep up with those stats as well.

I am a Falcons fan in the Atl area but I am voting no for other reasons.

I am on the No side but could have my mind changed in the future depending on what happens and if he commits to a strong defense.

And frick falcons

Yes. Not my top choice but I would be just fine with this hire.
