Ya, I just don't see why we move a giant back like that to HBack at this stage in his career. He is going to be a 3rd down machine in short yardage situations and that is valuable.

Also, does someone know where the height/weight of all newcomers are? Can we get that in the OP?

I can't find it through my 2 minutes of searching before I gave up

He's back and 100% He will battle Roc for carries this season.

I think PB will get carries either way, since he RS'd already. The only way I don't see one of them not getting carries is if Roc isn't ready. After hearing the Defense talking about PB running all over them and his one play at A-Day (minus the fumble), I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't end up the best of the 4 backs, when all is said and done.

Pettway is in the top 10 biggest and the Therizie rumour is just that a rumor.

He's listed at 239 on the roster, which is about as big as you'll find for a 6' RB in the SEC. Derrick Henry is listed at 6'3", 241, and I don't know that there's a bigger RB in the league than him. Gurley is listed at 226. Mike Davis is listed at 223. Not sure what Pettway's actual weight is, but he's definitely one of the bigger backs in the league.

Until it's proven, it's just that. Nobody knows anything for sure right now.

Tony Bridges? Or is it not recruiting related?

The insider he is refereing too post on AUC and the "get ready for bad news" quote from the insider was in reference to his thoughts on Therezie.

Fom EJ on practice today:

If Jeff Whitaker stays healthy he will have a "big time" presence on the Dline

Lambert and Lawrence will see a lot of action too

Tre Williams having a good spring

Khari Harding looks "fine"

Anthony Swain had a good day of practice had 4 or 5 tackles and caused a fumble

Boston and Roberts have had good practices at Safety but aren't ready to play

Travon Reed has a nagging hamstring injury

Nick Ruffin has had a good camp. Only playing Star. We have good depth at Star. Therezie JG Mackenro and Ruffin. EJ said Mackenro has looked good too.

Justing Garrett went down with an injury today for 10 or 15 minutes. Not seroius though.

KN added how great a story it would be to see Lawrence contribute. He had to try out for his JUCO team to make the squad. Would be a testimony to the ability of RG to find and coach up DLinemen

Some Auburn beat reporter needs to do a background story on Lawrence.

I thought his size was comparable to Henry's. I hope we can use him as a traditional power back. For some reason I feel like he will be an under hyped guy who has a great career at auburn.

Haven't seen it discussed, but I don't think Michael Sulka is with the team anymore. I noticed he's been posting on twitter from back home in South Carolina I believe. He was a long snapper I believe.
