@StatTiger Under Malzahn’s offense (2009-2019), Auburn is now 3-17 against SEC teams with a winning record, and the Tigers have no more than 35 rush attempts. Auburn’s scoring average during those 20 conference games is 16.6 points per game.

This doesn’t even seem right....

Gus has beaten Saban 3 times right?
Won an SEC champ
Beat UGa 2017

That’s 5.

Can someone explain this sentence to me? I understand the first part, but not the second.

It’s poorly written. I think it’s saying that, when we don’t run it at least 35 times while playing +0.500 SEC teams, were 3-17.

Yep, how I read it too.

Where he's weighting his stat's to fit a narrative. It's the AUFamily way of bitching without actually coming out and saying the SOB's screwed the pooch and it's not just Georgia.

More like Gus abandons the run against good opponents and relies heavily on the run against weaker opponents.
