It's more than just 3 plays he's holding the ball too long, he sits there and bunny hops and mistimes all the time, even the throws he does make could've been better receptions if he released earlier

Well anything looks too long when your starting center has a pass pro grade of 43.
He obviously made mistakes but he isnt the only player not holding up their end of the deal.

I agree with you here. There seems to be a plethora of issues which seem to go back to coaching/ preparation. Against new Mexico if Thorne makes the same mistakes as he did against cal he needs to be pulled immediately. Freeze needs to coach him a little harder and maybe it will light a fire under him. If hank is worse during a game time situation at least we know where they stand for 2025.

It's funny you mention Freeze coaching players harder because literally a week prior he was in a presser explaining how its hard to find a balance coaching these kids harder because he's trying to coach them up without the kids leaving with hurt feelings. He was talking about those freshman receivers missing assignments or not knowing where to go.
Those receivers directly led to two interceptions themselves.

what would light a fire under him is if Freeze holds him accountable. He is too comfortable...........it's time to make him uncomfortable.

My arm is weak, I’m inaccurate, but I can’t read a defense or see over the line .

Make him take up residence on the bench if he keeps missing wide open receivers

Aaron Murray has plenty of accomplishments.
You are not wrong.
But this is still my favorite accomplishment of his...
It is the gift that keeps on giving.

Is that Fairley on Murray?

I’ve watched enough football where I can tell when a qb looks like a deer in headlights. Thorne has done it multiple games, and once he gets flustered he doesn’t pull out of it, and that is a tendency that isn’t seen in practice.
And one thing I don’t understand is when you can tell he is flustered he just sits there on the sideline. Where is a coach to try to coach him out of it? That last interception was horrible, and Coleman being hurt had nothing to do with how poor a decision/execution it was.
Side note, I gave up on Thorne watching the bowl game. He’s not the guy, and that doesn’t mean Brown is but let’s find out..
