The few Bammer friends I have hate Gus. He’s the only coach that has been able to beat them. The Bammers on here were the ones wanting him fired after a 1pt loss to LSU and clambering for Bill Clark. There also the ones that want to say we have lame duck coach that changed his contract. None of that mess was true. Only trying to keep recruits from coming here because Bammers know, with close to equal talent - Gus beats that arse

How do your UGa and LSU friends feel about him?

Yeah, he beat Saban last year - but he cant beat Orgeron, or two guys who've never been HCs in P5 before this season. How is that worth what he's being paid?

no on all three, thanks

ETA: well, depending on how you define "globalism" but that was more of a response to the pointed rhetoric

and approximately 90% of all Auburn fans who go out of their way to exclusively use "Bammers" as a referent

Yep. There is a reason why Alabama is ranked 46th in education.

Also, Football scoop reporting Gus has had interest or talked with Georgia Tech.

If Gus doesn't get Bryant or Tate, would he abandon ship? This is assuming Stidham isn't coming back.

What is even more depressing is thinking about playing at LSU. Already have that as a loss. We could be up 35 points in the fourth and I would still be resolved to a loss.

Not anymore. Been back in the private market for nearly 2 years now when I moved back to bham. More than doubled my take-home pay.

All the contract stuff and everything was bs Nobody would fire a coach 1 yr after being 1game away from playoffs So if Kirby loses a couple next year UGa will fire him? Hell no and he blew two games by himself

Look at his entire body of work..
