If we blow this hire and Steele is named head coach Auburn will lose so much money from fans. It’s probably the worst decision Auburn could make.

That's why I think Cristobal is number 1. If Oregon comes up with the money to keep him then good for them. If not I think he wants back down here.

Head Football Coach carries more weight at AU than Asst. AD.

Cristobal had several of his top players to opt out. He has the third ranked recruiting class coming in and Oregon is going to dominate that conference. Cristobal is building that team similar to an SEC team. Tough, not soft.
Someone.said the other day that Cristobal is Kirby Smart. Did Kirby Smart not kick the hell out of Malzahn every year? For Auburn to compete year end and year out with Alabama, LSU, Florida or Georgia you have to recruit with them.
The talent gap between Auburn and those programs right Now is light years. We need a serious recruiter. Cristobal and Napier are serious recruiters.
