I don't want Clark but this is untrue lol. He took UAB to their best season in a decade in his first year there, before the 'freebie' by the ncaa.
He also just won the C-USA title in UABs fourth year back, so basically all of the freebies from the NCAA are gone by now.
I don't want him at all but hes not a terrible coach

He has his pick of 3* talent in AL, and does not utilize it. His offensive game plan is appalling. His team is undisciplined. He was allowed to take a ton of kids no one else was allowed to touch. He isn't Napier.

This is not about Bill Clark.
This is about being slapped in the face and kicked in the nuts with the realization that what should easily be a top 10 job isn't right now because of the incessant meddling of power hungry money people.
As of today, the following jobs are evidently better than the HC position at AU-
HC @ University of Louisiana @ Lafayette
Offensive Coordinator @ Clemson
Defensive Coordinator @ Clemson
Offensive Coordinator @ Alabama
Those are just the embarrassing ones, not the obvious ones.
This is about being slapped in the face and kicked in the nuts with the realization that what should easily be a top 10 job isn't right now because of the incessant meddling of power hungry money people.
As of today, the following jobs are evidently better than the HC position at AU-

Go frick yourself. How about that? I'd rather shut the football team down for a year and repeat this all again next year than bring in fricking UAB's coach to go recruit against Nick Saban. Think of how prosperous that is.

The people I’m talking to are 100% making it about Bill Clark. I agree that the search and being turned down by Billy Napier and the whole mess with boosters that won’t get out of the way is embarrassing and scary. Kevin Steele has a career head coaching record of 9-36 and hasn’t been a head coach in years. Bill Clark has a record of 49-26. It’s pretty cut and dry. Nothing two-faced about it.
