JOX guys alluded that Napier's decision wasn't just about boosters, but also due to Auburn having an interim president and an AD whose contract is soon up for review

Why the frick is Gouge still considered an interim president when the University officially named him the 20th President back in February?

Remember when Saban came to Bama? The AD basically camped out in Saban’s front yard and refused to leave without him. Saban also said that the only way he’d come was to have total control and tell the boosters to frock off.
This is what we need! There are only a couple of coaches that could pull that off- Bob Stoops and Urban Myer.

Agreed. If anything this proves Greene is at best responsible for the other sports and a figurehead for football.
ETA: If I’m him, I’m getting off this sinking ship ASAP and distancing myself as much as possible from this shitshow.
