Take away his time as Bama OC (a job that Locksley, Daboll, Nussmeier, etc have had success at), Sark is West Coast Gus.

How is Sark on the recruiting trail?
As a falcons fan I am not super pumped hearing him interview but I’m trying not to let it completely cloud my judgement. I’d rather have him than Steele.

I know we won't get it, but I'd love to know the list of who we talked to after all this was over.
I'd like to be annoyed that we even considered Dan Quinn, but we probably didn't...just more 'insider' info.

Never even won his division at either job.
He got fired by the Falcons after dropping their offensive output from 34 ppg to 22 & 25 ppg.
He has recruited and coached well at Bama.

The play here is to let the possibility of Steele being hired linger so long that we'll be happy with anyone but him.
