2010:Cam Newton is the true mastermind behind our success

FIFY. Our team this year has some good players, but we don't have Cam Newton. It would of been hard for any coach to lose with him. Our offense has become truly balanced this season outside of Clemson and 2nd half LSU. Chip Lindsey deserves most of that credit. Do I think the Gus we are seeing now is a bad coach? No. Do I think Auburn will be fine if he decide's to leave for Arkansas? Yes.

Tell me, does his overall record against UGA, lsu, and UA warrant a significant raise?

In the last 5 seasons only 2 SEC West teams have been to Atlanta. Bama & us. That's why he deserves a raise

Gus just dodged a question about Arky again during the SEC presser.

And when Gus shits the bed Saturday like he has in the past we will be on the hook again for a coachh that has not produced a ring. If Gustav wants to go let him gtfo. Unlike UT we have the ability to attract top tier coaches. If he wins Saturday he is worth the price, if not, bye...

Get out of here.

Gus wasn't the HC in 2013 when Auburn won the SEC?

We may wind up with buyer's remorse but, as of right now, there's some pretty strong evidence Gus has turned the proverbial corner. If he wins tomorrow, he'll have earned a substantial pay increase imo.

Quick... somebody name the SEC head coaches who have beaten Nick Saban?

Then name the one’s who have beaten him twice.

The man is new to this compared to others. How long did it take him to get it right on the defensive side of the ball? As far as I'm concerned he finally got it right on the offensive side and it took the LSU game for him to realize he better let his staff do their f-ing job.

After everything I've seen, and I go back to Shug Jordan, we have someone who finally got it right. There appears to be no outside interference (Bobby Lowder type BS), he's surrounded himself with top-notch people who know what the hell they're doing, and we may be looking at a season that is absolutely historic when it comes to college football.

then again we're Auburn, this is definitely the time to frick it up

I don't want the little lint picking weasel to go anywhere. I want to see Auburn consistently beat his arse

that includes leg humper's and corndogs
