Look at Colgate’s 3pt numbers. They’re even scarier IMO. Six guys getting significant minutes that shoot over 36% from 3. Three of them are shooting 42%, 47%, and 50%. Their one weakness appears to be that their bigs are young and not that great.

I hear ya. Senior teams scare me. With that said we should as expected beat any 15 seed.

We’re capable of losing to any tournament team the way we’ve played for the last month and a half.
I think we’re very similar to that 2018 team that collapsed as the season came to a close and McCelmore was injured. Except this time there hasn’t been an injury. Our guards have simply been exposed.

True but we have had multiple open shots and normal 30-35% shooters are missing those shots. That's not something that can be changed other then continue to take the open shot. Now we do take some poor shots but that number has cut down a lot over the past month which seems to go with our shooting so poorly. Gotta get back to playing free and fast. Maybe thinking to much.

I feel like something was never quite right after February 1.
I was hoping that the second half of the Mississippi State game and the OT was the turnaround. It could still be.
A&M was a buzzsaw.. rare to see better shooting than them
rare to see worse than our shooting through most of that game
we still came almost all the way..
Somebody from among Green, Jasper, Johnson needs to catch fire from 3 - hopefully all three of them. Jabari needs to keep being dominant
To move in the madness we will have to have that - it can all happen; but frankly, that will come as a pleasant surprise rather than a certain expectation.

UAB got Houston. I think they could give them a scare.

Amazing Michigan gets in as an 11 seed
ETA: Tennessee as a 3 seed bodes well for us.

Auburn 2 in Greenville midwest region vs Jacksonville St.

We should absolutely beat JSU but I fully expect them to play the game of their lives
Posted on 3/13/22 at 5:27 pm to CorchJay
JSU will be tough I think, but good for potential games

That 2nd game will be really really tough. USC.
Anyone know anything about Jack St?

I think they can make a lot of 3s.
I really like our draw. We just need to play our game

I like our draw - we can run that quadrant, but of course we have to play much better ball than we have of late. That Wisky Sweet Sixteen could be a clash of differing styles

We are in a solid region but I like where we are. I guess we are the number 2 of the 2 seeds. So 6th overall.

Color me unimpressed with USC. Miami scares me more.
