Not really what I meant at all, but ok.

Just talking about historically Auburn.. the most hyped 5 receivers I remember over the past 10-15 years are:

Deangelo Benton
Kyle Davis
Nate Craig-Myers
Duke Williams (was solid but not as good as the hype and obviously didn’t work out)
Trovon Reed

Meanwhile our best receivers over that time period ended up being the lightly recruited Sammie Coates and Darvin Adams.

Wasn’t really implying anything by it, just kinda odd.

I do think WR is as difficult as any position to evaluate.

Are you denying it? He was always in the game. As a WR, he isn’t going to make every block.

If you have to go back 10 years to a Tuberville team then you didn’t make your point. I’m sorry, boo. We’ve had some top ranked receivers flame out. We’ve had more that have been productive

Your whole post was full of dumb but Duke was an absolute monster when he wasn’t punching teammates in the face, so that’s the one thing I decided to single you out on

Four weeks ago: "Gus has senioritis and will only play upperclassmen and won't give our talented freshmen a chance waaaaa!!!!"

(Freshmen WRs ball out, NCM leaves)

"Gus is underutilizing our talented upperclassmen waaaaa!!!!"

This board

But on a more serious note, what I AM slightly concerned about, is losing both NCM and Jalen Harris *as blockers*. Sure, they whiffed on some. But they were some of our better players, in that regard. And with our OL continually alternating between gloriously mediocre and hammered dog arse, we need all the blockers we can get.

With the return of Hastings to the Slot, does Sal go back to TE? At least it looks like he can catch, this year, and he's a big body to block.

How was he a pussy? They told him that he needed to get better at blocking and he shut his mouth and did just that, and he became the best blocker at WR. He never complained. If you haven't noticed by now, Gus typecasts his receivers into oblivion. Once you are the "blocking WR", that is about all you will be doing. Similarly with the speed-sweep role, go deep role, and the bubble screen role. Its bullshite and its why the NFL has zero interest in his receivers. He's had like 10 years as an OC or HC and the only two receivers he's put into the NFL literally only got there because of their innate measured athleticism, with both coming out and basically admitting that their usage at Auburn hurt them going to the next level. How dumb are some of you? Its an offense problem, and its been obvious the whole time.

This offense is a bottomless pit for receivers and passing QB's. I wouldn't get too attached to the freshman receivers who are "balling out"; there is plenty of time for them to degrade. Nix will be the next in line of passing QB's who magically forget to play QB once they step foot on campus here, all the while being degraded by idiots on the internet who can't see that he's just a hostage in a concentration camp.

Its an exaggeration, dipshits. Just because 2 out of 10 times they do something different, it doesn't negate what I said. X, Y, and Z receivers have like 3-4 routes that they are responsible for, unsurprisingly its why our receivers are hilariously easy to defend by any competitive defense as half the time the formation alone is a tell and the number of options are so limited that the DB knows what is happening before the ball is even thrown.

When 90% of your receivers and quarterbacks bust, its OBVIOUSLY a schematic problem LOL. That isn't "recruiting" and it isn't "bad luck".

I was being truthful assclown. I cannot really recall ever seeing NCM run a screen in 3 years.
