The secondary and D line are awesome. The O line is better than it has been in previous years. We need some consistency at QB. The receivers are a work in progress but should continue to improve if they can stay healthy.

Thorne runs well and passes, except for throwing into coverage.
Ashford seems to have developed a passing touch.
Running game is a question mark I thought was going to be the strong point.

I would say high ankle sprain. He was able to walk off and put weight on it.

If he could throw enough to keep defenses honest he would be a big problem for opposing defenses.

To me, it looked like he threw into a crowd both plays.
Week two
Learn't disrespect and from the PAC and they were cellars dwellers who forgot to buy a better punter. Didn't help we were suppose to be top shelf SEC. Also learn't 11:00 O'oclock games are better in the AM.
Week Three
Robbie's going to smile. Whether he's scoring or handing the ball off. And them bird legs on PT can scamper like a much larger pair. Which will be nice come week four. Also learn't Hugh at (3-0) might be more secure than Nick with a loss.

Here's quick snapshot where I am at the moment.
Our offense shows some streaks of being decent, but I do not have confidence that we can score points on demand against some better teams should we get behind yet.
I really like our RB room and its depth. Hoping Jarquez finds his footing and comes to play soon.
Fair and Fairweather look legit. We need a couple of more to step up so we can be a more effective passing team. 10 different players had receptions vs Samford though.
Thorne's last performance is a mixed bag for me. I love the versatility he brings with his running ability, and he can be pretty accurate, but needs to clean up looking a receiver down the whole way and some decision making. Based on his past stats I am guessing we need to expect an interception per game jang has noted, but Can he offset that with high production against the better teams we will be facing? His 1 TD to two INT's is not going to cut it in the long run. Even if one of the INT's may or may not been on him.
Our OL shows some positive play, but need more push in the run game. Need more consistency and hopefully that comes with more snaps.
I believe we have a fighters chance the next four games, but with some injuries to key players how much will it hurt us? Can our offense get into rhythm and sync faster and more consistently?
Our defense appears solid, but we will find out more the next four games just how good they are or will depth show its ugly face?
If we can play the next four competitively and get some breaks our way, we might be able to take 1-2. Hopefully the last three games has been a huge help and our team can start finding that continuity required to beat top teams.
I see signs of good, but overall we are not good yet. Let's hope for some good things to happen these next four weeks.

I could have gone in way more depth bro.

So the Ashford taking snaps at WR was yet another lie made up. It was confirmed fake news.

You said quick, not short so you were correct. Basically
And I agree with your quick/short analysis

Describe both interceptions please.

Well then he is lying. It was a poor decision and an across the body EndZone throw that ended up with 0 points on the board.I get that he is trying to make the play but....he threw two interceptions against Samford. How are you suppose to get to 8 wins doing that?
Justin Ferguson say anything about it in his mailbag? Live he clearly thought it was a poor decision.

You truly are an unintelligent person

I dont care about your opinion. I am not deferring to Freeze's opinion on this after we squandered a 15 play drive for no points.

Roberts has done a fine job, to be sure. But I also think he has more to work with on his side of the ball. He has a number of AU veteran players who aren't transfers to work with. As they say, great players make coaches look like geniuses.
Montgomery had a harder job with almost a whole new line, new QB, several new receivers. Sure, some of the transfers are vets, but they aren't vets with the guys on the team.

That is true. Etheridge did keep the secondary rolling. Hallowed be thy name/

Our starting defense is as good as any out there but if our offense can't figure out an identity quickly it is not going to matter.
