If Venables is smart he will realize how big a hit Clemson will take without Morris and jump ship anyways.

I wonder will he be in play at A&M. I read somewhere that he was in the top 2 or 3 for the DC job.

A&M fans are claiming he, Boom, and Bud Foster are their top 3. But I don't know if that's their fans top 3 or ones they are really in it for.

Wasnt there someone that said CEJ said he knew for 3 or 4 weeks that he would be fired at the end of the year?

Wasn't me but I heard his kids were crying at school about moving before the IB.

His wife before the season though had always talked about how she wanted to end up back in SC at the CC

I don't know but both PM and Ron Sanders said there was no way that just happens in the span of 12 hours for the reasons stated in my OP.

TAMU is not an option for Boom per JGT and PM.

Also coached at AU in the 90s under Bowden and on Gators staff in the 2000s. Still very well connected with AU. He's good with AU stuff but his drawback is he is a gossiper on other teams.

FWIW austudnt23 has chimed in about the DC search. He is connected in really well.

What type of deal would USC have to put out?

Would the 5*s be CeCe and Byron Cowart? If so x infinity

ETA: Can he bring VH3 with him too?

That would be my guess. AU has had positive vibes on both the past week.

Probably have a plan in writing on how they will be phasing OBC out with guidelines on exactly when it will be that he becomes Head coach

And doing it without the HCIW label as the HCIW has the same recruiting restriction as the HC.

Esto aquí es porque Señor Muschamp es el numero uno (y en realidad, el solamente) para mi.

Venables is growing on me. That is partially due to the cooling of the Boom frenzy. If we can get either of these two, I'd call it a success.

ETA: Okay now after austudent post, back on the Boom or Bust train.
