You must not have been keeping up with Col. St.. He turned them around in no time. This is a very solid hire for UF.

I could probably go 10-2 against that schedule with Dee Hart in the backfield too

JM doesn't seem to have that coaching 'star power' that some of the best do that allows them to recruit to compete.

Thats why its Muschamp or bust for me.

I could see that happening.

I've never seen a head coach get so pissed after his own team caught a touchdown pass in my life.

The Iron Bowl was the first time I've ever felt bad for Kiffin.

McElwain is going to run a pro style offense with Harris.

Dude is going full Les Miles.

Trust when I say it isn't easy to recruit at CSU. The setting is pretty and all but it's a literal cow town.
I think it's probably easier to recruit there now than it was, say, two years ago...

CSU was a passing team this year. Finished 7th in the country in ypg, 3rd in rating, 10th in passsing TDs, & 2nd in yards per attempt.

JM is a high risk/high reward type of hire. He's certainly done a hell of a job at CSU but this league is much different.

Dee Hart has 1300 yards rushing. You saying no one was focusing on his former 5* running back?

Well said and you're right, this league can swallow up the best of them.

I doubt anyone gave a shite about his ranking coming out of HS.

Hart ranked 5th in the MWC in ypg, 3rd in ypc, 3rd in TDs, & 7th in attempts per game.

OTOH, CSU's QB finished 1st in ypg, 1st in attempts per game, 1st in TDs, 1st in rating, 1st in ypa, 2nd in completion percentage behind Boise's QB, & threw the least INTs out of any QB with over 200 attempts.

To act like Hart was the horse JM rode for his 10 win season is asinine.

Didn't say that. But you are implying Hart, who is an elite athlete, had no bearing on his success.

I only responded to Sand who claimed Hart was the sole reason of his success.

It helps if you read the post I was responding to.

So Nebraska fired a slightly above average coach for a completely average coach? I'd be pretty pissed if I was Huskers fan. Sure, recruiting will be easier at Nebraska than OSU, but the dude is in his 60's. Just dumb.
