Auburn fan and ESPN radio dude fighting over where Boom should go, radio dude says since he already interviewed for Houston (HC), he'd be cray-cray not to take it, and I don't have to mention the AU dude's position on the matter.

Looks like we are being used as his backup plan. I hope not but it certainly seems that way. It makes one wonder how much he is really interested in Auburn job. Maybe they are just working out personnel details.
I hope that Malzahn has a good backup plan of his own if this does not go down.

Of course we are a backup plan. The guy is obviously going to chase potential HC opportunities before settling for an obvious demotion (DC). There is nothing wrong with that, nor should you feel "sad" about us being a backup.

Muschamp is worth the wait if we can get him. I really don't blame him for looking at all possibilities. I would too. We need to make him tell us no and I think that is what is happening.
