Yeah he was the scout. Resume looked good but probably only on paper.

He was promising but you gotta believe they're lining up for a grand slam HC hire. There will be no roadblocks and no situations wherein someone doesn't want the job because we're telling him we have so and so in place from before.

The only reservation from Lane or someone big time is our roster and cruiting class. Nobody is going to be thrilled with what we have. Thank god for the portal

So with them firing all of these coaches do they have someone already in line? Seems extreme.
Must be some behind the scenes bullshite that we aren't privy to. Firing all those assistants mid season with the HC, screams that something was very rotten.

we have studs on offense imo. RB stable is strong af, WR group looks good too, just no one to throw them the ball

They were cancer... you've got to cut it out.

RB is meh. Hunter for a year, then Damari Alston? Signing Cobb will be huge.

Not sure what to make of the WRs. But most importantly, nothing really goes if your OL is bad and there’s no QB. Which is the situation we’re in. I’d hardly consider the offense, in any capacity, a selling point.

Fortunately, the transfer portal could make quick work of a rebuild under the right coach/recruiter

exactly. I think it will be a quick turnaround. Transfer a Qb in, take in some JUCO OL and transfers, profit

We may have the smallest staff in the college football modern era, this Saturday. Are we down to 3 offensive coaches?

He is right though. We know Hunter is a stud and he is probably 95% of your optimism. Damari is an unknown. We are thin overall.

From looking at our recruiting success this year i would say it’s definitely just on paper.

AL.com also said he (Fabio) was only on a one year contract according to a FOIA request

And he started in August, right? Not sure I’d put any blame or praise on his ability from that short of a stint.

I’d love to know the story there, though. That seemed like a guy that you’d have no reason to bounce this quickly unless something happened.
