Not bad. It would be better if the shade of orange on the facemask actually matched the shade of orange on the stripe and the AU logo.

I'm okay with something like this, but I agree the orange needs to blend with the orange on the helmet already. Maybe the photo doesn't show this accurately??

Probably has something to do with the chrome if I had to guess.

Couple questions related to uniforms. One, does the coach decide if the team makes changes like the orange face mask or is it up to someone else? And two, know our equipment guy has gotten press over the last several years. One when they showed him with sewing machine and two, more recently, the face masks he developed. Is he hired by coach or is that AD dept. Just wondering if that’s a position Harsin hires (doubt it bc he has bigger priorities).

This is sharp as frick. I like how the metallic orange facemask goes with the metallic orange on the helmet.
The metallic orange stripes and piping on the helmet are the closest match to burnt orange than the international orange it used to be.

The coach has a lot of leeway, but ultimately it is on the AD which means it is on the boosters. In 2010, we were going to go with a blue helmet for the Clemson game, but one of the baseball support staff saw the helmet in Dana's office and tweeted it out so Chiz shitcanned that idea.

CBH has a say in everyone in the building for the most part. With that being said, Dana is pretty much nationally regarded as one of the best in the business and it is unlikely that ADAG would let him be replaced easily.
