Matthews blasted the Coaches for not playing Asa Martin. said this was the worst group of Running Backs at Auburn since the Bowden days. said Gus has done a terrible job at recruiting every position on offense. and Blasted Leath for doing a terrible job on Gus's contract.
he also said he thinks there is a chance Gus is bought out if things continue down current path

Asa was wanted by everyone. Even if he fumbles, it is still better than what we have.

But we got that 5'7 rb. Things are all good

WRs are pretty good. I'll give Gus credit where due. We don't really play the good ones enough, but we have a few good ones.

How would we know. They are taught to block and run four routes.

I wondered the same about Asa a few times to be honest. I appreciate Malik and he did some good things in the game, but he is SLOW. It's obvious why he was passed up by everyone else. Didn't Asa fumble a couple of games ago though? Stidham gets all the chances in the world, but if a freshman makes a mistake everyone knows they should never see the field again.

May be off topic here but it’s hard for me to not think how well devan barrett would be doing right now at RB. I could have sworn he would have been the next guy after his little action we saw last season.

Who does a pretty damn good job almost every time he's given an opportunity.

The problem isn't Malik, Devin, Asa or Shivers...it's Gus. When given chances all have done what you could hope for from them. The coach is the problem. It's a position that demands respect, he can't hold it.

It is a probability. Things are in the works.

I was told last night that Asa has already decided to transfer. This came from another player.

Don't blame him at all

If all this transferring keeps up, we won't even be able to field a team of scholly players

They are going to have to change up the NLI limits with the new transfer rules

Literally have been expecting to hear this. No idea why he hasn’t been given more touches, especially the circumstances. He posted something last week on his social media, that boiled down to he wanted more PT. frick Gus.

So instead of giving Asa some carries he gives them to a Malik who has already had his shot.
