Catfish?
Sometimes I cast a line at the fisheries department. Snag a fresh one.

Tailgate Sipper
4 cups cubed fresh pineapple
1 cup bourbon
1 cup chilled lemon sparkling water (such as Perrier)
1/2 cup Southern Comfort
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Process pineapple in a food processor or blender 30 seconds or until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides as needed.
Pour mixture through a fine wire-mesh strainer into a 2-qt. pitcher, pressing to release juice. Discard solids. Stir in bourbon and remaining 4 ingredients. Serve immediately over ice.

I know this isn't food related, but I am in the middle of converting my basement into a football cave. Trying to get it done before the season starts.

You take bacon, lay the strips overlapping on a sushi mat. Take hamburger meat, seasoned how you like and spread it in a thin layer on top. Put a piece of cheese running the width of the mat then roll it. Cook on the grill indirect heat for 20 minutes, brush BBQ sauce on it, cook another 5 minutes.
Take it off the grill let it cool a bit then slice like a sushi roll. It's pretty damn good

Yeah I've been tinkering with the recipe this summer, think I've got it where I want it. There a ton of different recipes on YouTube for it. I forgot to add, I use chopped pickled jalapeños as the "wasabi"

instead of the jelapenos, you could use a habernero ketchup. most homemade habernero ketchup have ketchup, a habernero, a little orange juice and a dab of molasses. it is a sweet ketchup with a kick, could be a nice side for your hamburger sushi since sweet goes well with the bacon and the spicy ketchup would go with the cheeseburger part.

Think I'm gonna do some fried shrimp, maybe oyster as well, po boys for a game this year. I've perfected my remoulade and wanna eat something other than the typical burger, bbq, chicken wings, and dips that we usually do.

The key to good po boys is the bread, find decent bread and they kick arse. I might have to make some roast beef poboys, easy to do in the crock pot
