Spot Stickers are well known as excellent baits in West Georgia.

Nice fish. Lanier do you fish Wedowee/Harris? I'm a bump bait angler and less familiar with spinner baits.

Lake Lanier grows some of the biggest spotted bass in the world. Hell, even I can catch them.

The river colors are awesome. Love them. Ours are either dark green or bleached out.

I grew up fishing into peppergrass and lilypads in Florida so the spinnerbait was not part of the arsenal.

There's not much that can beat Martin in the first week or two of April.

So I use to fish Wedowee a lot. I am actually about to ship a big order today to a small shop in Wedowee. Lake Wedowee Bait and Tackle. It is a damn gas station that has been selling our stuff for over 20 years. They tend to let things run out before they call us but when they order, they order a good bit of stuff. No spinnerbaits. Just jigheads, drop shot weights and worms.

Wedowee is a lot like Lanier and Martin on the lower end. The river area has lots of trees. The spinnerbait in general will be good there in March /April like most places. Worms and jigs now.

Check out the black Shoal Bass with a blue belly the Mrs (hand pic) caught a year or two back.

Buddy of mine finished in the top 10 using a shadhead spinnerbait this weekend (1/2oz with the orange Colorado). As a team, we finished in the top 7 and qualified for the team regional tourney. I finished in the 30's (100+ people). Not bad for our first Federation Nation tournament of the year. Placed an order for more spinnerbaits this week. Headed to Guntersville for tournaments on the 26th and 3rd.

Awesome man. Great job. Good luck at Guntersville. I think your order shipped today. I have been scrambling all day today with a major fire.

One of my prostaff guys won the Lanier BFL Saturday with one of my swimbaits and swimbait head. Had 19 pounds with 3, 5 pound spotted bass

His second BFL win. Dude is on fire...

Those Mexican girls he pays $8 an hour to make his lures really do great work. No wonder he does not let them keep their phones on the work floor, might distract them.

I really am not a hard arse. I just cant afford to pay people to play on their phone. My margins are low and I need production for what I pay them. Which is actually pretty good.

Great morning today. About 8:00 am, I called the company in Florida who makes my skirts for all my spinnerbaits. I have a big order in with them that should be shipped this week and I wanted to check in on it. He did say it would ship Friday. "Oh and by the way, I wanted to let you know that we are closing at the end of the month".

No warning

Not accepting any more orders

Didn't sell the company so I will need to find someone else to make my skirts. In the beginning of the spring which is my busiest part of the year. Un fricking believable.

I have been buying from him for 10 years. I never, EVER, would have believed that he would do that. If I could have made a final order, I could have stocked up so I have time to find another vendor. Now, Im either fricked or I have to go overseas and pray they make them right and don't get lost over the ocean.

I have to source 73 skirts and 30 different tabs that I tie my jigs with. Going to be exciting.
