Speaking of bullets I’d like a nice guns and ammo thread on here. Is this board too vegan for that?

Yeah I edited my reply bc I forgot to put my stance in there that you'll never see me say we dodged a bullet by missing on Kiffin.
He is what he is and I really don't care. But the holier than thou "Auburn fans" and the media loving his Twitter antics that make him look like a 14 year old girl while putting out a "witness tampering/intimidation" narrative is completely ridiculous at least. And at worst, it's collusion to damage Auburn as much as possible.
I've just had my fill of hearing/reading about it.

Got damn the conviction and fire I sensed from you just gave me the chills.
Kiffin is still disappointing unfortunately. I thought Nick Saban rehab had him further along the maturity curve. Just this week he publicly messaged and scolded the Sokolov writer again and at this point he is being ridiculous. Kiffin can go his own way now.

Recently purchased a Sig P365XL w/ the Lima365 laser. It's fairly concealable for a 12 rd 9 MM. I've put 150 rds thru w/ zero malfunctions. Not super accurate beyond 7 yds yet. Need to shoot some more.

I was over on the Outdoor Board today or yesterday and someone was having an issue with his sign p320x compact. Was t familiar with the pistol so I googled and loved the look and specs of the gun, but apparently it has some issues.
Anyway, got down into a rabbit hole and came across the new Springfield DS Prodigy. It's a 1911 in 9mm and the DS, of course, stands for "double stack". If I remember right, the smallest mag holds 17 rounds. Sorta pricey starting out at around $1400-$1500 (I think that is the version that comes with the reflex/red dot). Gonna definitely have to get my hands on one soon. I've got the itch bad to get some new steel.

The real question is why does anyone use Twitter anymore it’s a shite show anyway

I bought that exact same gun in August. I hadn’t shot a single got damn round through it and was already up to here about it mad.
I did my homework. I wanted a nice gun to stash in my car and not worry too terribly much about the value just in case it got stolen, or it got put in police evidence lockup. I settled on the 365xl. Great fit for my above average hands. But the gun wasn’t the same gun I saw on the numerous YouTube videos I watched. For one, it is a verified 365XL, but it doesn’t say XL on the gun like the rest of them. Thats no biggie. I bought a 350 dollar Trijicon and it doesn’t even fit unlike that I read it should.
So, I go on the sig Saeur forums, and the posters there didn’t even know what the frick was happening. I thought I got gipped with a regular p365. Lo and behold, sig is rolling out a new 365xl that will allow the rear sight aperature to not have to be taken off when installing an optic. The dealer (Birmingham Pistol Warehouse) didn’t even know that is what they sold to me. (I have them saved on gunbroker. ) So basically, now I’m just waiting for Sig to come out with the piece to install my new trijicon. Other than that, everything is fine with the gun.

I see those guns every now and then. I don’t have one but stay away from it is my best advice. A safe gun only fires if you want it to. That gun has a mind of its own. A safe gun should not fire if dropped. There should be internal safety mechanisms w/in the gun that prevent it from firing if dropped. I’ve read reports of that gun firing even when it’s not dropped and the finger not on the trigger as well.

I tend to collect, more than shoot myself and I’d be lying if I told you I didn’t already have a plan to buy one. A good friend of mine really wants me to get it but I’m waiting a little while because truth be told I already have 1911 style guns that are bulky. I have some legions, a 1911 heirloom, and some other guns that I find difficult to carry.

No HC should be running his own twitter. Lots of downside with little upside.
I wanted Lane, but it sure as frick was NOT because he liked to tweet.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm not a big 1911 guy but appreciate the history of the design and the craftsmanship of them. I tend to gravitate towards carry pieces and modern full size stuff. One of the best "bang for your buck" guns I've bought over the past few years was a Canik SFX and the Canik tp9 elite combat.
I've got Glocks, SIGs, s&w, and on and on, but those Caniks have really impressed me as a relative newcomer to the American pistol market. I'll sing the praises of their guns to anyone who will hear it.

Man, that stinks.
I've only had it a month or so, still trying to get used to EDC w/ it. I have average hands, but the 365 felt way more natural than the Hellcat or Glock to me. Got a Vedder IWB holster for it. I opted for the laser over the optic.

He just said Auburn may have dodged bullet (extremely reasonable). Added in that Freeze could see be a big regret (extremely reasonable). Miffed about something else.

The Canik has a lot of sex appeal but man I’ve got a whole laundry list of pistols left to buy.
I’ve heard a lot about the Sphinx SDP and it’s great characteristics as an EDC but the founder of the Sphinx sold the company off to a bum that bankrupted the company. Nevertheless the Swiss founder that founded the Sphinx has now created the Phoenix and its an even more improved version of the Sphinx. The Phoenix Fusion is costly but it’s my next buy. This company is basically brand new in the United States.
I then want a Stecatto C2- This gun is basically a fricking cheat code.

Lastly I got some rifles I want to buy.
I have an X bolt which is long distance. But I’m looking for smid range (Alabama wooded terrain). Probably in 30- 30 or 30-06 or .308 or….something. A lot of the rifles are sold out though and I’d be paying a hefty premium on Gunbroker. Does anyone have any recs?
Shotguns:
I have the benelli m4, Benelli Supernova taxtical, and the benelli super black Eagle. 3. Italy kicks American arse with Shotguns.

I could not contribute a ton to that but I would be very interested in learning from it. I have plenty but most are hunting stuff. I did buy a AR and have a few hand guns.....
You guys get it going.

I'm already there, Rig. The moment he got into it with the local reporter, I didn't care to get the guy, anymore. I would have rather had Prime, but, felt like either one, (Prime/Freeze) would be a better fit for Auburn.
