I think people discount how many times KD's energy and insanity flipped the games momentum in our favor. It happened more in that direction than the other.

I'd prefer more steady, reliable type guys for sure but KD was a net positive and could do some things most people cannot do.

His energy was great, for sure, and he played great defense. But I think you discount how many turnovers he created jacking up terrible shots or trying to barrel into a crowd under the goal without any sign of a plan or hurling the ball down the court like he was Roger Staubach where only the cheerleaders were open. I hope he gets the playing time he wants in his final year and ups his game, but I also think we can upgrade.

Bruce, Caldwell, KD, and the Jungle were perfect for each other. Great memories. I just wanna cry.

Peak KD was single handedly winning the Missouri game where we were ranked #1. He showed a little of that this year but I hope he gets to take as many shots as he desired wherever he ends up.

Oh you’re right and he did his fair share too. But the good thing about that is you take him out of the game

That and the UConn game in 2022 when we lost in OT. He was the best player on the court despite several NBA guys being out there

Peak KD was when he took Auburn out nearly by himself as a true freshman lol.

I thought Kd was amazing then.

I also thought he would try to abuse smaller guards more in the paint but he never tried to.

But he used his strength to bully Auburn. He has bigger shoulders and a bigger arse than someone like Aden or Harper. Should be able to back them down

Im not sure Bruce and KD were a great match offensively. I think he will find more success on offense elsewhere where they try to get him downhill more and tell him not to shoot threes unless it’s a wide open catch & shoot.
