What the problem was with champ. It is not money or Gus as a whole, has more to do with football operations. Boom wants to make a staff change and he was told no. I guess we can figure where the change needs to be.

Pretty easy to guess which staff member he wanted to replace. And assuming I'm correct, this coach would be out of a job if not for his deep ties to the school. The good ole boy network is alive and well!

Or, it could be he is about to get offered a HC position.

If he was told 'no' then why isn't that a problem with Gus and the way he runs the program?

Finebaum and Del Greco alluded to this Monday on WJOX. I started a thread.

Can't believe the brain trust would choose Rodney Garner over Muschamp

Me either. Doesn't make sense. So, what does that tell you? That maybe it isn't true? Huh?

Tub lost his job because he was too loyal to his asst.'s. Why is this so hard to believe?

It was under article Pm wrote. People finally got PM to answer the question if was not money or Gus not getting along, then what the heck is it. He said had more to do with football operations. Someone said that he wanted a staff change and was told no, or it hasn't happened yet. Still could but not sure it will.
I guess Boom wants changes and not getting results.

He lost his job bc he stopped recruiting and got lackadaisical. Also, his wife was having issues.

Gus had no relationship with Garner prior to hiring him from UGA? That's not enough for me to believe Gus would choose him over Muschamp

Maybe it's someone else on staff? Question is who else could it be?

It has to be Garner.....and it may not be Gus who is saying Garner needs to stay. Will hand picked errybody else.

the BBQ gang led to 2008. TF and the spread offense was never given a chance because the BBQ gang constantly undermined Tony Franklin. Then the offense got extremely bad when Franklin got fired.

So you're saying Gus has no say over his own staff?

Or are you saying that Gus told Muschamp no?

Personally, I blame the Pastafarians.
