He will be like Kiehl last year and Kodi was. He will throw maybe 5 times all season, no matter how good or bad he is, and will run. They should just stack the box

CGC said he "will continue to earn the right to play some more."

So maybe the coaches will let him play against Arkansas in 2 weeks and use him to put pressure on KF to get better.

I hope not.

These coaches need to learn from the mistakes they made with KF last year. KF was hardly ever allowed to throw, and it has massively stunted his development to this point, IMO.

As bad as we were last year offensively, we're worse (at least in the passing game) this year. KF is terrible right now with his decision-making and his accuracy, and if he can't get any better, there's no reason Wallace shouldn't get more snaps and get some experience throwing against SEC defenses. And as far as I'm concerned, there should be an open competition b/w Frazier and Wallace the next two weeks for the starting job.

No, Frazier wasn't the sole reason we lost tonight. There were a number of things. But if we just have decent QB play tonight, we probably win. Frazier is really bad right now.

I think there is more in store for Mr Wallace then what was done with KF. It pains me to say Brannigan could be right, but I need more proof. He got a pretty good head ringer though...ouch

Not sure what you watched, but Frazier threw the ball well tonight. The problem lies solely on dogshit play calling. Frazier threw 2 or 3 bad passes tonight.

Ummmm although I agree with some of your post, he threw several bad passes tonight. Some were high, some floated, some never went near a WR. He does deserve some blame, but not solely.

I have no problem with Wallace getting some touches. However, I question him getting them in a tight game against the #2 team in the nation at home.

Where was he during the State game? Where was he during the ULM game?

Haven't had my sit down with Chizik yet, but expect it to happen shortly and will ask. Be back in a few once our conversation is completed.

ETA: I don't think they wanted to use him this year. It may be that Mosely won't be ready anytime soon, and they were forced to get him some touches tonight. Just a guess is all.

At the game it appeared as though Frazier missed some open receivers. Wallace took a dome shot at the ending too.

Again, based off this season's performances, I have no prob with Wallace getting touches. It just seemed to be the wrong time to me unless Frazier showed me he was struggling which he didn't....

His touches didn't hurt Auburn's chance to win. Not sure what your point is? If you need to find a way to move the ball and win a game you find it. In fact he did a pretty good job. Not trying to get in an argument here, but this game was good as any.

Agreed. How about in the 4th quarter of the State game when Frazier had (5) turnovers? That'd have been a great time to see him.....

The coaches know who the bad throws are on and the things KF should be doing that us fan don't even know about. So it could be something else they are not happy with.

I would like to see Wallace throw it some and Arkansas could be the team for both QB's to practice throwing on.

I agree with you that he should have been used before now. Again, I was under the impression the coaches didn't want to burn his redshirt. I believe they made that choice this week. That is just a guess on my part.

True, but what did Wallace do that Frazier couldn't? All Wallace ran was Wildcat plays. Frazier could've done that.

IMO, I think we're about to see an open competition b/w Frazier and Wallace going forward. We've got 2 weeks until our next game, and this would be an ideal time to break Wallace in and see how much of the offense he's learned and what he can do. Otherwise, why burn the kid's redshirt for a couple of plays that Frazier could run?
