Poster on ITAT (AuburnNupe) says certain people have spoken to JW and things are smoothed out. Nupe is a guy who would know this kind of thing.

Any chance we see him back this week?

If Whitehead is back and starting, what do we do at DB? I mean Holsey and Ford both looked nasty at the safety spots

Does Holsey move back to CB? Would we do a 3 man rotation with Mincy, Reed and Holsey?

Drop Jonathan Jones to #4 CB and let Holsey and T Redd fight it out for #2

E, I think you need to change your sig pic. We have not had any good news recruiting wise since you changed it to Lebron...

I think Holsey beats out Reed, but we need Holsey at CB because Jones has made a few plays, but he's also looked terrible at times. Jones needs to get some backup work before he sees the field more, imo.

Personally, if he made extremely bad remarks to coaches in the line of questioning their knowledge or experience and the confrontation got heated as inferred, I'm not do eager for him to return. Team chemistry and belief in the team/coaches/system is crucial for a successful season. Of course I don't know the details and by all accounts JW is an intelligent good kid.

I dont know exactly how i feel about this situation. I belive JW was in the process of having a break out year, then he got suspended, was replaced by Ford, who now is having a break out year. Good problem to have i guess.

imo, we have more depth in the secondary than we have had in recent memory

Doesn't look like he has posted anything on Twitter since Sept 22nd when he tweeted "Mistake made, lesson learned..."

Still suspended.

I hate this, but glad Gus isn't putting up with crap like Chizik did.

Had to be more than a verbal altercation, right? What can someone say to get 4 games or more?

Whatever happened to sticks and stones?

I've seen numerous posters on other sites say it was more than verbal it was a physical altercation. Whether that means he "shoved" someone or "swung" at someone I don't know....

Regardless, it's good to see Gus not putting up with sh*t. Especially in light of what's going on with Florida.

Has there been anymore speculation on the UGA player who was dismissed for domestic abuse? Really hope Gus sticks by what he said regarding that issue.

Not sure on specifics, but I really like it. Losing JW isn't going to cost us any games this year but allowing your team to disrespect coaches will plant a seed in the atmosphere in the program that can turn a 7-5 or 8-4 season into a 3-9 season.

Wonder how much of Gus seeing the dumpster fire under Chizik taught him about handling discipline issues as a HC
