My statement was with the three players we have seen play that he cut, Golesh has made the right call SO FAR.
i still think JA will improve under Merlins tutelage - although his habit of going braindead and panicking from late 2nd quarter onward was definitely on display lat night

Same as he's always been. If you pressure him, he makes mistakes. He takes too long to process, so he can really only throw to his first read.
Reminds me of that one that came from Baylor. I won’t mention names because there are definitely feels for him here. Probably the most scared Qb I’ve ever witnessed and would constantly run out of protection and fall to the ground in the fetal position. Who can guess his name?

When he took those sacks on that 4th down and on 3rd down on that last drive... I just started laughing
Couldn't help it.

We need to tamper the shite out Miss State's QB after this season.
They don't deserve his wheels.

When Jackson Arnold dies he will be buried still holding a football

People were mad about Golesh not retaining players

My statement
quote:Of course we will miss him. I’m on record as saying Auburn’s overall WR room is better now than it was prior to the portal opening, but nobody we have now touches CC’s talent and ability.
I suspect Cam will be the only one we miss, but next weekend will tell.
We will definitely miss our starting CBs from last year. Reports have already indicated that. I would say Woodward, as he’s a really good player, but we are really deep at LB. Eric Singleton…he stings. I think we’ll miss Deuce Knight eventually, just not at the moment. I’d keep an eye on Donovan Star.
Just remember, there was a time where guys like Lee Hunter, Colton Hood and Romello Height didn’t look like losses either. They all just went top 3 rounds in the draft.

You are really stretching to argue here. Three players at two of the three most important positions on the football team were subpar for their new teams. Golesh has hit so far.

It’s still, obviously, very premature to say one way or the other, but continue.

but we better hope we don’t have to rely on the arm of BB to win games. OL, yeah, I think they’ll probably struggle in pass protection.

You were right but come on man, that wasn’t a very big leap to make the prediction.

Me thinks letting Deuce Knight walk might have been a bad idea, too.
