Can do for your prospects of landing another head coach.
Sadly for the fans, what goes around comes around.

So you’re going with that huh? Do you still believe in Santa too?

Thanks.
He's trying to suggest that we were mean to Harsin and now no one wants to come here.
Yawn.
Yeah, that's totally it.

Long story short, this fella believes the stuff back in February with Harsin is why we don’t have a new coach named right now

ANY coach worth his salt that saw with his own eyes what Harsin did and then what Cadillac did fully understands why we pulled the plug.

I do think it factors into the equation to a degree. It would certainly to be one of the many issues a new coach would look at regarding atmosphere and institutional support

With all the behind the scenes drama that comes with Auburn, I can completely understand why a top tier coach would give Auburn a hard pass.

If that guy had done his job like an SEC-caliber coach his name would still be on the head coach's desk.
It should be a warning to any aspiring coach out there. If you don't want to recruit like your life depends on it don't come to Auburn University. We don't put up with that.

I never knew we had a public investigation about his relationship with an assistant?
The investigation started late Fall after complaints from former coaches and players - regarding Harsin's treatment of them
New year and I believe Justin Hokenson was the one who started, or made viral, the rumor about the assistant

Either way the fact that it played out in view of the public and Gogue sent out a press release about it, instills zero confidence in our Admin by incoming coaches. It should have been handled internally. If there was an issue then disciplinary action should have been taken internally. Only if it rose to the level of termination should it have gone public.

What I love the most about message boards; every Original thought deserves its own thread. Then, the OP disappears.

And I called you all idiots for sympathizing for Harsin.
Your idiocy continues to grow.

Well a bunch of people at the time said we would have problems finding a new coach after that shite. Lo and behold look where we are today.

We got a flip from LSU with no head coach from a kid 30 minutes down the road. That should tell you all you need to know about Bryan Harsin.

We are here because of our great value budget apparently. Harsin was a shitty coach (and naturally you loved him) and he needed to be gone then.

Also what Cadillac mentioned in multiple of conferences, players weren't going to classes, and when he took over it was like night and day with how academics felt about some players. The players were much better to work with. You gotta remember a large percentage of those on the field don't make it to the next level, so they need to finish their college. Also you know maintaining scholarships

Y’all understand it has nothing to do with Harsin good or bad but how our Admin handled it, that is why we are having a hard time making a hire,

Your boy sucked and needed to be removed then. That’s my only issue with how we handled it.
