knucklehead from the crowd was allowed on stage to sing. We’ve nipped that kind of crap in the bud because it almost never goes well.
Brother of a friend of mine was part of a band that played around east central and northeast Alabama in the late 90s/early 2000s.
They were playing a show up around Gadsden and this guy in the crowd kept asking them to let him come play drums for a song or two. Just to shut him up (and I think try to embarrass him) they finally relented and asked him what he wanted to play...his answer was anything from Alabama's first couple of albums. They play something and he never misses a beat.
Turns out the guy was one of the first drummers back when Alabama was called Wild Country before they went to Myrtle Beach and became super stars.

That’s pretty cool. We’re all for bringing folks up as long as we know them or can vet them.

As a general rule, you should always, and I mean this, always rig your fishing rods before you mix the second batch of margaritas.

Do you have a hook in your hand?

No sir. I am smart enough to know NOT to rig rods after the tequila has flowed for a while.
Was up at 4am this morning rigging and all is done. 12 rods rigged, 2 tarpon rods, 3 with swimbaits for trout/Reds, 3 with 2/0 circle hook only for snook (white bait), 2 with topwater baits. 2 xtra with line and leader. Tackle packed
Sitting at the boat storage now waiting on my boy to get here so we can head out of Centennial Park in Sarasota. Going to be a beautiful Florida day here in the Gulf of America.

I hope you all have a great day.

Trying to get as much of it in my life as I can man. Time running out fast. Great day on the water yesterday. Weather and fishing. I honestly think its the best way possible to spend a day.

And I hope it goes without saying, if you are ever in the area. Call ya boy.

What’d you catch Lanier?

We caught a mess of speckled trout, some snook and a few snapper. Fished farther south than I usually do trying to learn some new areas. Was a great day. I mistimed the tide for the snook and didnt have my bait caught fast enough. But still had some nice action in the shallows . Those things are a blast. Next time I go, maybe Friday, I am going to bail on everything else and just concentrate on them

Happy Mother’s Day to you great moms out there
My mom is down in her knee and my wife is in Georgia doing a baby shower for my son and daughter in law who are expecting my grand son in 2 months. They did the Auburn theme and my grand daughter loved it.
