It's been eight years since we won the 2010 National Championship

What was your favorite part of that season (apart from winning the natty)?
I'll start it off:

I was watching that game in Boston with family and I can vividly remember my mom getting mad at me because I was so pissed off at halftime that I wouldn't interact with anyone. I also remember losing my damn mind as Cam started to lead us back.

This. After heartbreaking losses to LSU in 2007, 2008 and 2009, it felt good to get that monkey off our backs.

Cam out running Patrick Peterson is one of the greatest plays in college football history. I also remember that jet sweep to McCalebb when he took it to the house. It's one of my favorite games to go back and rewatch.

The win against Clemson was particularly memorable for me because we took a good friend who is a diehard Clemson fan and he was PISSED. It was great.

He sat in a separate section with other Clemson fans so he walked back to our tailgate separately from everybody else and when he got back he was so mad he punched our friends truck and left a dent

He was convinced that the refs made up the false snap on that FG to keep Clemson from winning. Had to show him the replay and even then he only begrudgingly admitted it was a good call. He must have not been paying attention because from where I was at in the student section it was clear as day the LS picked the ball up several inches off the ground and set it back down before snapping it

My best friend goes there and I have multiple family members that are Clemson fans so our inability to beat them since 2010 has been brutal. I think it especially sucks that they went from being our lesser to being leaps and bounds ahead of us within a decade.

Clemson fans share a disturbing amount of characteristics with UGA fans

I never had a true appreciation for how fast McCalebb was until that play. I also remember how loud JHS sounded on TV when he broke away. Must've been insane inside the stadium.

That game is one of the few things we really have to hold over the Gumps heads but damn does it get them going

For over 5 years the only two backgrounds I used on any of my desktops or laptops were either that picture of Kodi you posted, or this one of Terrell Zachery embarrassing Dee Milliner:

I knew Terrell's older brother in 2010 and because of that he became my favorite player on the team other than Cam.

I still think Terrell Zachery is the most underrated player AU has had on offense in the past decade

Gotta say the Arky game, mainly because I was there in J-H for it. Met up with my old AU buddy David Granger, who passed away from a stroke a few months ago.

That was without a doubt the wildest game I've ever seen in person.

Then, walking back to my cousin's tailgate in the dark after I finally made it out of the stadium, I heard that Wisky had knocked off #1 tOSU, which finally led me to believe we had a legit shot at the BCSCG if we took care of business. Good times...

I was at that game. There was a run play with Dyer that turned into a scrum and our guys moved the piled about 8 yards or so. I can't find it anywhere online, but I'll never forget it.

All those moments are great but nothing eclipses Wes Byrum putting the ball through the uprights to make it official.

IIRC both sides had lifted Dyer off the ground and his feet were just dangling as our guys kept the pile moving.
