We flew through Phoenix in the way back. Some obnoxious sorority age girl decked out in Bama gear gave me a roll tide at the airport and I almost lost it

I had scheduled an extra days, so after we got back all I had to do was walk to my room and crash (thank goodness). I flew back on Thursday, via Philadelphia (which was iced over) to Atlanta (which was snowed and iced over). Got to my car at long term parking and it took me half an hour to get all the ice off of it before I could get in and drive it.
Except for Hoover Dam, what an awful boring drive from Vegas to Phoenix. All browns and yellows.

My wife had to be back at work on Wednesday so we had to get out on Tuesday and there were no flights... Couldnt take a chance.
The drive from Vegas to Phoenix as not bad for us because we stopped in Flagstaff for two days. I will tell you that if you are ever in Flagstaff, stay at the Embassy Suites. They have one hell of a happy hour which typically lasts from 7-11.
